I have the banks six gun on my truck and I am about to add a boost/egt gauge. Now my question is, can I use the one pyrometer probe for both the gauge and the banks? Or do I have to have two pyrometer probes to pull that off?

I guess I was a little un-clear. Maybe this sorry illustration will help lol

a pyrometer is a very sensitive volt gauge. heating the 2 different materials in the thermocouple creates voltage. splicing the leads can skew the reading because of voltage loss at the connection. soldering should help keep loss to a minimum.

no problem it should work if you solder it you cant hurt any thing trying.

Or you can just upgrade to the PDA.
