If you enjoy your truck, dont use it. I had a 99 Chevy with a 6.5 TD and it fried my injector pump! If you want cheaper fuel, look into home brewing your own bio-diesel. Thats the best way to go.

horsehaulin just curious is www.dieselsecret.com for sure the reason your pump fried. I am not saying you are wrong just curious how you determinded that is what did it. I just bought an 07 3500 & I am looking at the bio stuff to run it on. I am pulling a 36 ft car haul trailer.

There is a BIG difference between Biodiesel and "diesel secret". The secret is paint thinner is not biodiesel. Just because an engine will run on it, doesn't mean it's a good idea. I think we need a sticky, Please. It's like every five threads is asking the same question.
