For a few days now i have been trying to get EFI to work on my new laptop with vista, ive tried every thing, installing and re-installing drivers etc etc etc. Im so frusterated. So what i want someone to do for me is make a list of what i need to Download again. Do i use the EFI disk for vista? what drivers do i need to install?? i dunno why this is giving me so much trouble it worked good with my old laptop with XP. And yes ive tried to "run as admin" still nothing. So i just freaked out and deleted EVERYTHING to do with EFI on this comp and going to start over. So if someone can tell me what i need to download would be perfect, the version number to please!! thank you very much!:(

I'm sorry to hear you've been having problems. Rob's guide should get you going.

We have some significant problems with the way our drivers install over recent months - the biggest battle has been trying to reproduce the issues on our test PC's.

Finally we were able to reproduce and FIX this issue. This functionality will be in our next major public release. I know it doesn't fix your problem today, but rest assured you shouldn't have this problem in the future.

Should i use the "EFILiveV7_5_3_Setup_Files.zip (http://download2.efilive.com/Software/V7.5/EFILiveV7_5_3_Setup_Files.zip)" on EFI website or the setup that came with the disk about a year and a half ago???
im still pulling my hair out.
i got the laptop to know the V2 when i plug it into the USB port, but now i cant get it to connect with the truck it says no cable connected and check connections etc. ERRRRRRRR!!!!!!

Its official...i have no more hair. I just pulled all mine out.
im done with this for tonight. Maybe ill try tomarrow...:(

Ok i think im on the something. I need to update my V2 Firmware, but i cant find any firmware files??? I tried searching the comp for .ffw files and it has nonthing?? were do i get them???
