Ok guys my low fuel NEVER comes on? i mean i have pushed my truck pretty far on the E mark and never get a low fuel light. I know the light works, when i turn the ignition on it lights up, but never comes on when im driving and it gets to E? Anyone got some suggestions on how to fix this or make it operate like normal? Is my edge juice messing with it?

mine only comes on when i have 30 miles or less on the range. maybe your not letting it get that low.

Mine does the same thing but I ran out of fuel, what gives?

If you have a stock fuel tank, it's likely 26 US Gallons, 96 litres for Canucks.

Do you run it down until the range says "low"? Then how many gallons do you put in it? How many gallon have you ever put in it?

My range disappears at about 21 gallons, and the light comes on about 22-23 gallons. Most I've put in is 24 gallons.

My fuel warning light comes on when 4.5 to 5 gallons remain. I verified it by running it low on fuel in mid-June.

In my current 1500HD 6.0 the fricken light comes on and then about 2 minutes later you run out of gas!

How much fuel are you adding when empty? My light comes on when gauge shows 30 miles to go. Then i can add 20 US gals. Dam gauge leaves a lot of fuel in the tank.

Sorry to revive a real old thread, but when my fuel light comes on, I can put in 29 or 30 gallons. Then I can fill the filler neck with another 2 gallons (topping it off).
