Looking at a truck tomorrow and I had the VIN ran on it. The following showed up under applicable warranties:

60/100000 GM DIESEL ENG IN LD VEH WITH $100 DEDUCT AFTER BUMPER TO BUMPER LIMITED WARRANTY 01/11/2005 41 miles 01/11/2010 100041 miles


Is this some kind of extended warranty on the truck?? Dealer is clueless :)

I assume this is the 5/100000 powertrain warranty.....

It's 5 year / 100,000 mile on the engine only.
