Im not sure what the problem is, but the headliner, plastic, and the carpet are damp. Someone told me to check my aftermarket third breaklight, but it hasnt rained since I noticed. I have a appointment with the stealer tomorrow, but I wanted to see if anyone else heard of the problem. How big of a problem am I going to run into with mold or rust?

Do you have a sunroof?
There's been numerous threads about those leaking, something about a poor drain setup or hose coming loose.

Roof marker lights can also cause leaks.

i had same problem with 3rd brake light. its after market. so i put extra foam padding around it the kind that is sticky on one side trimmed it to fit and then siliconed around it and hasnt leaked since. my carpet was wet and started to get humid in truck and then a little stink. then i noticed water marks on inside windows.

No sunroof or marker lights....

I switched out back to stock 3rd breaklight and took it to the stealer. We will see.

check the back window seal also, mine leaked on the drivers side and got quite a bit of the seat and carpet wet. The dealer pointed at my Sirius antenna through the brake light and was ready to lay it off on that, I told them to run the hose on the left corner and sure as hell it was leaking right where I told them.

I know my truck, they need to listen better but I have been battling that for years.

Put a thin bead of clear silicone on the seal of the 3rd brake light and be done with it. Mine did the same thing and that was the only way to get it to stop leaking. I even tried swapping the foam weatherstripping from the OEM light and it didn't make a difference. I noticed that with the aftermarket light it doesn't sit flush at the top center causing water to leak in.
