i'm wondering if power heated seats from a 03-04 pickup will work in an 02, i know they will bolt up but will all the electrical work ( power seat, heated seat ect.

Heat and power for movement are 2 differant circuits. Power to the seat for movement is easy 12v and a ground. Heat is a ton of work, wiring harness, switches and programming(?). From what I have read most people go with aftermarket heat. I just didn't tell her that the new seat (could) have heat...she was happy with leather and power.

oh i forget, the 02 has power heated seats, i just want the newer style seat heater elements, and my factory leahter is starting to crack, and i found some 04 seats, just wondering if its a bolt in and plug in deal

I asked the same Q a while back and am doing this upgrade now. If someone could post or email me a schematic of the seat heater wiring I could figure this out. Anybody???
