Does anyone have a phone number to a live person at Diablosport? I think i have a defective Predator. I put in the 65HP tune the other day and limped the tranny. Figured maybe i didnt give the Ally enough time to relearn, so i left in it. All day yesterday, it was fine, but on the way into work this morning, I go to pass a car and limped it again. The Predator will not reset the SES light or the DTC, and I also noticed that even with the Predator installed after I had changed to top speed parameter, that my top speed is still 96MPH.

So to sum it up, on the 65HP tune, my tranny limps, the top speed is still limited, and it wont reset DTC's like it is supposed to. Did I just get a dud, or are they junk? ( I have read everyone elses review and raves about the Predator, which in one of the reasons I bought it. I am TRYING not to just slam the product, but it sucks when something doesnt work as it should, and you can't reach a live "professional" to ask you questions.

First, what code(s) do you see in the READ DTC's?

If it threw a P1093, you are fine. It has nothing to do with the trans. It's fuel starvation. Check fuel filter.

About the speed limiter. Pull Radio, Info, and both SEO fuses. Return to Stock. Modify Tune. Upload Modified Tune. Reinstall fuses. The screens can be confusing, and the instructions are weak.

burbanman- Did you try contacting the dealer you bought it from? If not, I would suggest it. It is cases like this where you find out how good of a deal you really got.......

The DTC that the Predator reads is 0700 TCM malfunction, but the other day when this happened, I used ATAP to pull the code and it gave 0746 (something about a preasure control solenoid)

At this point, I am just going to put the stock tune back in and wait until I can get ahold of the vendor or Diablosport.

P0700 is a code that the TCM sets in the PCM to indicate that the TCM has issues (codes set). The predator Can not reset TCM codes
P0746 is the TCM code for the Trim A solenoid.
Post this in the tranni forum and see what MikeL has to say.

I used the number JK posted, and got some kid at Diablo's tech support helpdesk.......he basically did what i could have done, entered the info and said someone would call me.......great help he was :rolleyes:

I have decided not to run the Predator anymore, I wasnt using it for Power anyway, just wanted it to correct for H2 wheels/tires and take off the top speed limiter. EJ has all the power I need :ro)

The first time I limped mine in the 120 tune I set a P0735 (Gear 5 Incorrect Ratio) code in the TCM.
