how can i find out what tables each pid represents. i am trying to figure out some weird things in a log i have and cant find the tables. thanks

also another question about a rattle if i jump on it. from highway speeds and hit hard it doesn't do it well as bad, but from a 30 mph and hit it to like 85% throttle it rattles like and old ford. the only thing i can find in my logs is the fuel pressure takes like 1/2 second to build. would this couse the noise. i have read here that to much fuel for a split second causes this. also it never did this before my dsp upgrade. same tune just made it dsp os.

You may want to feed that back to the EFILive customer service. I noticed the same thing and found that when I backed off the B0751 and B0752 tables in the areas this happened it helped. I didn't play much with non DSP OS's so I can't say I had any experience like this with the stock OS.

okay i put those tables back to stock. i will see how that does. i changed them because i thought it was just a limiter table. but i guess not.

What is your timing doing?

it moves accordingly. i dont think it is timing. last night i made it do it and logged it. the timing was 7* before, went to 8* for the duration of the throttle and then back down to 7*.

Ok, just tossed that out for something to look at. I've seen where some people forget about the timing and some times a different set of eyes on the tune helps.

i here you. i think it has something to do with my main tune, not the dsp. it is here in the library and alot of people use it no ones complained. plus it does it in my main dsp tune. i made some changes and i will test it out at 5pm. thanks for the help

How did it go?

i changed the tables and reflashed it thursday. problem was i forgot to test it on the way home thursday. but did this weekend and it seems to have fixed the clatter noise when stepping on pedal quick at lower speeds. so i guess you were right. thanks man. alot less worry now:D. now i have to go in and figure why that table will allow whatever it was allowing. need to relog and compare the 2. i know where and when i logged the last trip so i will repeat the same thing now and see what changed.

I know on my first couple of tunes I had a similar problem. I had maxed out all my fuelling limit tables. So when I put it to the floor from idle it would hit 100mm3 instantly. Then in corispondence the fuel pressure table would ramp up instantly to full fuel pressure right at idle. That was my noise. Now I'm more realisitc with my limit tables :duh:
