what a snap,,, easy as pie, drilling and tapping was way easy, kinda fun too, although I am a mechanic and have been turning wrenches for about six years it was still easy and i feel most people with some mechanical know how could tackle it.........:ro)

I just ordered mine today with the A-pillar mount and I have a Question. I removed the factory A-pillar to look for a place to pass the Attitude wire down inside and thru the firewall but I couldn't see anywhere that I could just run it thru. Are you guys drilling a hole or just taking it under the fuse panel and thru the door jam into the engine compartment? I really don't wanna drill and holes in the firewall and I would like it to be somewhat readily removable without notice.

LB7UP,
Have fun and ditto GMC2500HD... ...only the beginning!!!
Salmonbum-I have mine run down and out the door jam. Went to the local salvage yard and picked up an extra piece of a-pillar trim for less than $20. Now with the attitude mounted to the a-pillar, I just pull the entire trim piece out and put the original back in for trips to the dealer. Makes removing everything very fast and clean.

I ran mine through the same whole as the hood release cable.

hood release cable works great, you can do it there no problem thats what i did.... going to get a pyrometer gauge so i can hook that in for stealer trips.. they cant say much about a aftermarket heat gauge......

I am also thinking about getting a pyro gauge to put in for trips to the dealer...Which pyro will work with the attitude probe?
