Right on schedule my quad cab 2500HD DM is in the garage! To say the least it has more power then I thought it would have for a stocker. I am just coming off a 02' Sierra Denali with a beefed up 6.0 gasser that ran pretty good. The Allision is a weird feeling to get used to. It does seem to be shifting all the time and the shift from (I think!) 4th to 5th feels pretty steep. I put the tranny into the overdrive delete mod and it feels much better at traffic driving speeds. On the highway it rolls pretty smooth. Does anyone have the gear ratios for the ALLY? !st seems to shift out in 10 feet!

I plan on putting about 2K on it to make sure everything is working properly and then I'm yanking the tranny. Converter and a tranny kit to start this project out right before pumping up the HP.

I am on a fence between the ATS or the TTS triple clutch converter. Both seem to be highly used and have a good rap. What do you guys think ,that have used either one or both?

Lots and lots of reading on converters. Hit the search button and pour some coffee.

Oh great!! Another option!!-:t

I have been reading and its driving me nuts! I guess at this point it comes down to peoples experiences with one or the other. What are the big HP guys using?? If price was no object, whos converter has the best consistency?

You will not go wrong with any of the three. All make a very good product. I have seen all three of them inside and out, installed them in trucks etc...

Bottom line is they all work well. Need to decide what you wanna do with the truck. Suncoast, ATS both make excellent kits and rumer mill says TTS is working on something as well.. DTS is knocking on the door as well..

Sorry off-topic

Did you trade in your Denali? Are you selling it yourself?
