Two quick questions. Where can I find one of these systems, cheap? And how much proformance do you really get from these systems?

I've been researching WI systems for a couple of months. Suffice to say there are a few out there. However, unless you are very confident with building your own system you should invest in something that has been "real world tested". Figure anywhere from $400-$600 depending upon the system/components you choose. While the components themselves are likely half of the cost, the technical expertise that goes into building them comes at a price. ;)

As far as performance goes a ballpark range is probably 30-50hp and 80-100ft lb of torque. That being said WI is widely used in racing applications so there may be systems out there capable of producing much more. There is some good intel on the DP site about this, Super Diesel sells a system which gets good reviews, and there are those that build their own. WI also lubricates the engine better and decreases EGT's. Good luck. JJ :)
