Just wanted to notify everyone that I received an order confirmation email from +++ regarding the overnight shipment of my Predator. It should be here on Thursday and I should be able to enjoy it this weekend which is what I wanted.
I am very disappointed in the behavior of the administrators. Our men and women are fighting for our freedoms as we speak and we are censoring each other over a greedy vendor's pocket book and feelings.
This country is based on a free market. So once again, I will bring this idea forward:
---Why doesnt this forum invite +++ to become a paying vendor for the benefit of all of us----
Having a large selection of vendors for the same products is what this great economy is about. Consumers can never have too much choice or selection. We should be able to support, talk about, and choose from as many vendors as we want.
The more vendors we have the better it is for our members. The more vendors we have the better financially it is for our web forum. The more vendors there are the more competitive the vendors become for our business. The way I see it, everyone wins, including our economy.
So, administrators, please stop censoring Censored .
Yes this was a  .

Jstiles...........your missing the point entirely!!! These vendors are also the sponsers of this web site. As a result, this is why we have a wealth of information about our trucks. If it was'nt for them this site would'nt even be here. So the little money you save by not supporting our vendors is triviel. That being said its like the little grocery store thats across the street. Its handy when you need it, ya the prices might be a little higher but, if you don't support it .......it goes away. This is my .02............Rick

First off who are you? This is your first post and NO one has contacted the staff here at the DieselPlace for advertising information.
So Your ploy wont work you are being censored until You contact a staff member and supply us with your intentions.
We don't solicit vendors, they come here and select to be a part of our community and want to participate.
I normally don't like to do this publicly ,but be cautious if you would like to continue your stay here.

Having dealt with all the supporting vendors here, I will say I notice some trends. There are basically two types of vendors. First, the professional, respectable businesspeople take the time to read the rules; then they contact us about advertising. It’s that simple. The fly-by-night guys try and get a free advertising post in (without contacting us) hoping they'll pilfer a few items before we delete the post. There doesn't seem to be much in between. Let’s face it; people who run a respectable business know that things in life aren't free, just like advertising. Do you know that this forum is free to members? Do you know why that is? Servers aren't free, bandwidth isn't free. Fortunately for all of us the moderators donate their time out of the goodness of their hearts. If it weren't for the vendors that support this forum it would be a pay site. It’s as simple as that. Right now the vendors compensate for MOST of the costs of running this forum. Donations help as well, but they are far and few between. In the end I still end up forking over a small amount of money, which I don't mind. I love these trucks. It has become my passion and I know it does a lot of good for a lot of people. However if there were no paying advertisers I simply couldn't afford it.
I honestly think that respectable vendors, who are in the business of running a real business, understand that it costs money to run things, and that advertising isn't free. When was the last time someone ran an ad in a magazine for free?
So by supporting the vendors here, you support the site!
If you want to buy from someone else that's fine. This is a free country. But please don't belittle our supporting vendors by making 5 posts about how everyone should buy elsewhere because you got a "deal". Most often times the people who make these posts are in some way affiliated with that company. It’s easy to spot- just look up their post history. When they have 5 posts, and all of them are how they got a "great deal" from eBay vendor so and so then it pretty much speaks for itself.
That’s precisely why I’ve changed the vendor requirements here. They are stricter now than they used to be. And it’s cost me 3 vendors as a result. Now vendors must have a website, a banner, and a shop to do business. The reason for these requirements is it tends to weed out the eBay-type sellers who are here one day and gone the next. I want our members to get good customer service and I’ll be the first to say I’ve turned away advertising dollars because I had doubts of the credibility of certain vendors!
