I am looking for a tractor that will do whatever I want. I found this one near me. I have not seen it, but I know it has brand new rear tires, a front end loader, and the old man said it was well taken care of. He just bought a brand new JD and was wanting $6500 for this one. Like I said, I have not see it, but has anyone got an opionion?? I am going to look at it this Saturday.

$6500 for a 5610 with a loader is a great price, if it's in decent shape. Those tractors are rock solid, some of the best 60 hp range tractors out there.

That seems too cheap. Those are solid tractors. Yes those are 65hp. The tires usually are 16.9x30 and 7.50x16 on the front. What kind of loader? The hyd. gpm is a little slow unless they came with the dual pump. I didn't think they were slow until I bought a JD. For the money you can't beat them. Besides they will use about 30% less fuel than a JD.

True, hydraulics are slow compared to today's tractors, check and see if that one has the additional hydraulic pump which is mounted on the left side of the tractor. Give it a really good looking over $6500 is cheap, we sold 8 of them at an auction last year, none had loaders and the cheapest one was $7500. Good luck, lets know how it turns out.

Thanks guys. My cousin told me not to pass up this deal as well. Seems all is good, but we will see come Saturday.

check the front end for wear if the loader's been used a lot. make sure the clutch has free travel, if not it maybe able to be adjusted but if not it'll need a clutch soon.
