It swing from about 192 to 204 and will go to 210 it I get on it. Is this normal, This my first duramax and my point of comparison is my Tahoe which has a very steady temp gauge. I also have the attitude monitor which displays engine temp. It will fluctuate from 181 degress to about 195 depending on driving conditions. I also see the big swing on the dash temperature gauge.
