I found this in the FAQ on the Diablosport website:

"Your vehicle is equipped with an Allison Transmission. This Transmission has a learning process to compensate for the type of driving the user does. This process is learned by bringing the vehicle up to 55 mph and then put it manually into first gear. The transmission will then automatically down shift itself through all the gears to down to first, and when you stop put it in park and shut the car off. Repeat this process three times. This lets the transmission learn how to deal with the extra power given to it by the predator."

here (http://www.diablosport.com/faq/index.php?sid=117541&aktion=artikel&rubrik=001&id=126&lang=en&highlight=duramax)

Has anyone ever heard of this process before? I am not to fond of the idea of running 55MPH and shifting into 1st gear......Help Please!!!!!!!

They make refference to this process again at: http://www.diablosport.com/faq/index.php?sid=117541&aktion=artikel&rubrik=001&id=112&lang=en&highlight=duramax

that is what i thought........ I put in the 65HP predator yesterday, and limped the tranny for the first time ever. Drove it around some more lsat night and today, and i think the tranny is learning, cause the truck is running ALOT better/stronger and not limping any more.....

You limped it with a 65 horse tune? Was it the first time you installed it?
