First, your lines are fine. Second, get under your truck, grab your exhaust pipe and SHAKE it, I bet that is your knock. the AC will NOT do that, no way, never ever.

on a burb it can rear heat/ a/c...if the brackets break the lines will flop.....could be the heater lines doing it too...

I didnt think heater lines could make the described sound, though we are only going on his description. Good point on rear acc. but if the knock is that bad, theres a pretty big issue. The exhaust is at least a 12 second check :D

I've been running B20 on my 94 6.5 TD without any mods or issues. And I have the same knocking sound from under the glove box since i bought the truck. The guy that sold it to me said the exact same thing, that it something to do with the AC. It knocks for about 10 seconds every time i turn the truck on and off. I haven't got around to fixing it cause it's not really affecting anything just gets annoying sometimes.

I have run B50 at one time and it was fine. Just get ready with some extra fuel filter because BioDiesel have the cleaning effect on your fuel system. It is also increases the lubricity of the ULSD fuel.

I have been running commercial B-100 in my '94 K2500 Suburban for over a year now without any problems. Keep a spare fuel filter handy for the first couple of tanks because if you have any gunk in the system it will clean it out. Something to keep in mind though is straight bio has a lower heat value than petro diesel so you will lose a little performance and mileage. I get about 1-1.5 mpg less on the B-100 than on petro diesel.

As far as running used cooking oil, you will need to filter it and de-water it (from what I understand) and it needs to be heated to about 160* F so its viscosity is similar to diesel fuel for it to be injected properly. From what I have read if you inject it cold it doesn't atomize properly and can lead to coking of the injector tips and pistons.
