So here's the question. How much bigger than stock can I go without affecting my great fuel mileage? The stock tires (wore out quick-30,000 mi) look stupid on this truck and I would like to fill up some of the wheel well but not at the cost of dropping mileage at $4.10 a gallon.
Also, would like recommendations of brand and style that I should buy for a two wheel drive truck that sometimes has to venture off road while keeping a moderate price, $150. ea range and getting a better wear than stock tire. The stock Bridgestones would get me stuck in wet grass! Thanks.

Check out discount tire or tirerack.com There is a tire called a "pathfinder ATR". I have had them also my brother has them on his tahoe and loves them. They are almost like a bfg all terrain, a little less beefy, and hold up really well.
