I just bought a 2006 GMC 2500HD Dmax 4x4 CC and 2 of the original chrome wheels are peeling. The chrome appears to be bubbling and then peeling off, leaving a gray/white undercoating. The dealer thought they could have them repaired, however, their wheel specialist said that there was nothing he could do with them.
So, any ideas? Can you have these completely stripped and re-chromed or is it better to just buy new ones?
