I was pulling a 4300 lb. skid steer yesterday on a 1200 lb. trailer. The truck refused to take hills at over 40mph. I dropped the skid steer off and on the way home it still would not take hills and the only thing on was the the trailer. Right before I got home it gave me that PO236 code for the boost sensor. The times it was accelerating it just blew black smoke. Any ideas why it won't pull anything. Without a trailer it accelerates nice, rides nice. I put a new PMD w/ relocation a new turbo because the seals were bad and it was leaking oil,and a new boost sensor. I have seen that PO236 code too many times. I started to think that it is the only code that truck knows.
