I own a 2006 chevy duramax lbz. I have installed on it a banks six gun w/ pda with dual exhaust and intake. This friday on the way to the race track i was towing my trailer (about 7000lbs) and i pulled out from a stop sign and a car came around the corner so i stepped on it and nothing really happened. Then later on the trucks check engine light came on. I cleared the codes and they came back on after about five miles. The next day i did not have the trailer and i never threw a code until i stepped on it pass someone. The list of codes it has thrown have been p2563,p0108, p0234, p003a,. Lately it has only been p0108 and p0234. The truck does seem sluggish and it idles weird even without the codes thrown. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Question, I had codes last week, and was out of town on a Sunday, cleared them and went on my way.
Same thing this week, cleared them and drove the rest of the night.
Took it in to the dealer and he said that they are not held in history. So nothing they can do. Just told me to drive it and bring it back again when the service engine soon light is on. Is that true?
I am about a two weeks of driving a way from the end of my warranty.

Dmracing75 I did not meaan to hyjack you thread, I thank we may have the same problem. What could set off all these codes? I clean them out, remove the edge and all is well, I guess.
Maybe mine is the edge it's self I will drive some without it and see if they come back.
Did you pull the Banks and try it?
Rich.

Yeah i pulled the banks. Before i pulled it i cleared the codes and the moment i started the truck with out the banks the check engine light came on. So i plugged it all back in and now there were five codes all having to do with a voltage issue at different sensors. I talked to a rep at banks and he said that sometime the plugs that connect the banks box in can have a bent or pushed back prong causing it to not have a connection. Which in turn throws codes. Im still fighting it i got more calls tomorrow to try to get it figured out. The only problem is the truck has no power at anything past half throttle and sometimes when i hold it wide open and then let off there is a griding sound that does not sound healthy. But i will keep you in touch if i figure out this stupid problem.

I wish you luck, so far mine as been chip free for two days and no codes at all.
This time if mine goes into limp and the check engine light comes on I will pull over and let GM tow it in. They say there is no history logs in the computer. On star says they can't see codes.
But like you I had seven codes last time I reset it.

I just got back from the dealer. I dont know what codes your truck is throwing but mine was mainly throwing a p003a. They eventually found it to be the vane positioning center on the top of the turbo. Truck now runs great again. Maybe it is the same problem with yours? Hope it might help

any more updates on this problem. these same codes and symptoms happened to me over the weekend while towing 8k. now the turbo is constantly doing the vane sweep test when at idle. i dont have a programmer either but no cat, muffler, egr blocked, finger stick, and pcv rerouted.
