I have it on my 01 3500, but it is part of the Stinger Kit that I installed. I like the results of my kit. I'm sure you will pick up some power with just the WG and it even has a port for a boost guage. Look into a 4" exhaust and possibly doing the swiss cheese shuffle to your air box.

I have one but it was included in Banks Power Pack System. It is larger than stock and takes more pressure to move. I am vary satisfied with the complete kit, power gains are awsome. My suggestion is to purchase one of the kits that comes with the actuator.

Hope this helps

I like it as well, use regulated air to set the wastegate properly to avoid any pitfalls from overspeeding the turbocharger. 26-28 Psi initial lift is quite safe depending on fuelling mods and altitude.
Ported manifolds, ported turbine exducer inlets etc will all have an effect as well. If you plan to go that far you might want to qualify your operating altitude, and fuelling devices, then give Steve Cole a PM.
He will steer you right.

well right now im trying to everything piece by piece, and am in the process of making my own 4" exhaust, and already have the hypertech programmer with a k&n intake, so now im lookin for a wastegate and heard banks was good, but figured id ask the good guys first (i.e. yall)

how much was that banks power pack? Do they sell the actuator seperately? If so, how much does it run? Thanks

They do sell the actuator separately and I think it is around $250 depending on where you look.

closer to $180

I don't want to steal the thread, but how much actual horsepower does it make on the dyno stock or with other power adders. I have never really found an answer to that.

If you bought that LLY, you do not have a wastegate. As a consolation, we can run over 40PSI without even taking the visegrips out of the toolbox.

More boost will not make any more power with out more Fuel. You need some type of box or program to make use of the extra boost. not sure on any dyno runs.

Dyno runs are pending. Waste gate needs some fine tuning and then fuel delivery and then numbers will be available.
