I have been running the Edge/Attitude for about 2 weeks now on level 3, including towing 8000LBs to NY and back to MD last weekend and the truck has been running great.

Today, my predator came in, I put the Edge back on 0(stock) and put in the 65HP Predator tune and went for a test drive. I took it easy for the first little bit, then hammered it. Truck took off like WOW.....1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, LIMPED!!! :( SES light came on, I pulled over to check the code. Predator says P0700 TCM error, tried to reset it, no dice. Shut the truck off, restarted, light still on but tranny shifting ok. Put the stock tune back in and drove back to the shop.

Once at the shop, used ATAP to check codes again and got P0746 force solonoid stuck off? Used ATAP to reset DTC. Went for another test run, tranny shifting ok now. Put Edge back on 3, and the truck is not the same as before
:( :(

Guess its time for an upgrade........Truck is an '02 CC BS with 63k miles (just bought it last moonth)

Guess my question is, do you think it was a fluke, the Predator, or just my unlucky day? Has anyone else had problems with the 65HP Predator tune?

The predator does not protect the tranny, the Juice does. My truck will not limp with the predator on 65.

I've been running the predator on 85hp for about 3k miles. Beating it pretty good and haven't limped it. I didn't do many 4/5 wot shifts though. Today I loaded the 100hp tune. Sweeeet. I haven't done any 4/5 shifts at wot and most likely won't on 100hp, but no limping today. Saving my pennies for a trans upgrade so I can keep adding power. I'm hooked!
