Does anyone have the door guards like on the 2500 and 1500 on there 3500crew cab doors?If so how do they look? A stray shopping cart dented my door and after fixing it I want some protection.

I wish they would build a short box 3500 SRW with all the trim and aluminum wheels. Im hoping they do this before January 2006 when I plan to order my new one.

Just purchased a 2005 GMC Crew Dually and I put the factory body side moldings on and it made a world of difference. I can't believe GM doesn't think 3500's should come without. Get ready for sticker shock though...retail is nearly $350:eek: I work for the dealership, so I got them for around $205:cool: I had our pinstriper install them for me. They are worth the money! I will try to snap a shot tomorrow if the weather is nice so you can see what they look like.

Sounds great! Do you have a part #. Maybe I can find them on the web or maybe someone is reading this forum that can give me a decent price or somewhere to get them at a good price. I had thought about putting them on before now.The two dings from the shopping cart are making me sick now, so much for parking away from other cars ,it just gave the stray cart more time to pick up speed.

Maxgmc03 - im suprised that your truck didn't come with the chrome side molding. My 03 gmc crew cab came with the chrome strip but I removed it after installing my escalade handles cause it was just a bit too much chrome for me with the two of them. I have the moldings around here somewhere as I removed it with only 10,000 miles on the truck, needs new double sided tape tho. If you or anyone else is interested in purchasing these let me know, I will try to find them in the attic and take some pictures.
