How strong are the trannys on these trucks its a 2003 2500HD 6.0 gas 4x4.

The 4L80e's are great trannys. Pretty stout that take a good beating. Only thing I've heard is that they start to go around 100k. I've got 134k on mine with no issues at all. Maybe the amsoil ATF is helping? I dunno.

Had 180,000 on my old truck, 1999 2500, before i sold it and it was still going strong. Changed the fluid every 50K.
