well i have another quick question about my stealth 2. can i download the no dpf option to my tuner and then install it even though my dpf has not been removed? reason being, it is going to merchant automotive on sat to get new exhaust and i would like to make sure the tune "takes" befor i go there. i am guessing it would just not regen.

also, maybe it is just me, but quads instruction manual is very limited. maybe there is another place to check for more detailed instructions?
tried a search on board but there is just too many post with "quad" in them.

you wil be fine it will probably regen still if you drive enough, but it will just keep from check engine coming off when sensors pulled.

It will not regen period. ever. with the no dpf tunes in. Drive it for very long and it (dpf) will be plugged, and will take many repeated attemts of regen (once returned to dpf-enabeled tune) to rid it of limp mode. Tune it when you get to Merchants.

As previously stated, once the no DPF tune is installed you will no longer re-gen. WAIT until you take your truck in until you update your Quad. Once you update your quad and flash your ECM there is no delay. Plugging up your DPF can be a very big deal.

Wait to tune it when you get to the shop. If you download the no-dpf tunes to the programmer then it wont take very long to program the truck when you get there.

Just remove the quad from your truck and drive it to Merchants without the programmer loaded. Update your tuner with the no dpf update before you leave. Then when the truck is finished, upload the quad with the no dpf tune of your choice.

ok, i downloaded the no dpf tune to my programmer. well at least i think i did. i am assuming it is the download with the 135hp option, the one you agree with terms for.
i then went out to truck, just to make sure things worked ok.
problem is, i see nothing on programmer that says no dpf. the 135 tune is available and under the diagnostics there is an option to unlock tune for regen.
does this mean i am good to go and retune when exhaust is on?
i set it back to stock for the drive to merchant.

I have the same question, I know I downloaded the no dpf tune, cuz I had to agree to the terms. But when I loaded it to my truck, there were no tunes that said no dpf, just the econ, 50, 70, etc. Started truck up and idled it, loved the sound, no CEL came on. Remote start worked as well. Is this how it should be? Thanks, Chris

Mine says the No DPF part in the beginning, not in the tunes themselves. It works fine though. Believe it may say for off road use as well.
