Driving down Bolsa Chica going to get fuel and they had both directions on the road was a truck check point. But luckly it seemed only for commercial trucks, i was still shocked at first. There were about 15 to 20 chp cars on both sides of the road and the CHP mobile command truck. I think their main focus was to check for the correct drivers license and make sure no one was over loaded. They were writing several tickets to guys drive the small izusu cab overs. But as i was going through on the other side a few guys were on the ground look up at the exhaust systems on the truck and asking if it all looked good.
Anyways though i would say that, made me a bit nervous at first when i pulled up but they waved me through.
