Front spring kits add capacity to the front suspension of vehicles equipped with snow plows, winches, etc. They eliminate roll and sway, prevent front end sag and soften the ride when empty. The Load Booster kits include two rubber springs, complete mounting hardware and installation instructions. Timbren® Rubber Springs are actually hollow rubber springs which mount between your truck's frame and axles to supplement your existing suspension system. While running empty they smooth and soften your ride, reduce tire wear and even reduce fuel consumption through improved road contact. Under loaded conditions, they allow you to safely carry heavier loads by reducing roll and sway and eliminate costly suspension damage. Timbren ® Rubber Springs install in about an hour, require no special tools and come complete with all necessary mounting instructions and hardware. Kits are available for most vehicles from pick-ups and vans to trailers and full sized trucks. Made in USA.

Since the front of our trucks weigh so much and the truck sits on the yellow rubber stops I would think that this may raise the front end some. Just something to think about.

;) I have the Timbrens installed on my truck. They do not raise the truck. When a load is introduced they help to maintain an even plain. IMHO.... They do help. Easy directions to install and I picked mine up at the Western plow shop for $145 dollars. I also had them installed on my previous D-max. My plow set-up is a Poly-Pro, which weighs approx. 719 lbs....Hope this helps.

Yep, have them on mine because I run a snowplow. Defintely help reduce front end sags and improve the handling. A must have item for anyone running a snowplow.

The front of our trucks sits on the yellow rubber jounces, this is normal as it's part of the integral design of the front suspension damping and ride.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I've used the Timbren kit GMFK25S. This kit won't raise the front of your truck. As the other guys have said it will keep the front of your truck from sagging when a heavy load like a plow is placed on the front.

I will say that having the Timbrens rubbers that come with kit GMFK25S, in an unloaded situation, engaged with a somewhat OEM preload on the LCA’s will net a noticeably rougher ride than compared to the stock yellow jounces and OEM height (no t-bar adjustment).

ditto to the above

better yank em when you go to the track though. They make life a PITA when doing 4x4 launches

I recently put the Timbrens on my truck. It's an easy one beer job. They actually raised my truck 1" unloaded and 3/4" with plow. I must also mention that my truck was riding on the factory bump stops though.
I didn't notice any real difference in ride quality empty and haven't tried it with the plow yet. My ride with the plow wasn't bouncy I guess because of the Bilsteins but it would definitely bottom out on the big rolling bumps. Based on what I have read, they should make a big difference.

They are the only way to beef up the front end on a GM no one makes bigger tortion bars. They are on my truck

Didn't raise our truck any, just helps hold weight of the snowplow. Probably not worth adding if you don't have something heavy on the front. Work great for taking stress off of the t-bars.

Just so anybody wants to know what the gm ifs loadboosters look like...
