I know of a pickup that is a 2002 2500 CC S/b 4x2 with about 200k and it's NEVER had a set of injectors. Granted it's smoking quite a bit now and about to go under the knife but for them to last 200k is pretty good isn't it?

i had two sets in under 80,000, one at 25,000ish and another just recently at almost 79,000. Trucks going bye bye sometime between now and Monday, I won't get to see if the new improved ones last any longer. They also put in a new CP3 pump for a measely $1534 with tax and supplies which is more unusual than the norm.

104K on the first set and 7K on the 2nd.

96,510 First set (Filled crankcase) and 148,500 on second set (smoking w/ very slight miss-fire @ idle). New injectors on order.

Had 4 Bad At 205,000. I'm At 208,000 Now.

buddy has a 03 with 117k on it. no problems as of yet

146,000 on the originals hopefully with the nicktane they wont ever need replaced

164k on the 01 no issues, 122k on the 02 and just had them replaced.

Having the second set installed today at 72000. GM Would not replace them under warranty. The reason is that #8 was over fueling, which according to GM does not fall in the special updated warranty.

115K on mine, as far as i know theyre original still (got the truck at 85K and have no records of them being replaced)

A Buddy of Mine has over 320k Km (200k Mi.) on his original 04 LB7 injectors. The are smoking a bit now, but as long as he sticks Fuel conditioner in, it's fine.

I have a SLIGHT hint of gray smoke when the engine is cold and it is at idle, but after it warms up, it goes away.

I had 2 replaced at 50K and all 8 at 104K. The last set was this week after I got stranded out of town, the truck was running so bad I had to have it towed to the dealer.:mad:

Originals replaced right at 125,000 miles just before 7 year warranty ran out.

86K now on the originals. Nicktane pre-filter installed at 15K miles.

Mine is at the dealer today, 85,000 miles.

Mine made it around 195k on originals.

Many a farmers around here are over 225,000 and on origional injectors, I do show them holes in the t-case.

Mine is at 150,000 on this set, first set must have been duds, changed at 32,000......

at 200k its about time to replace them anyway....

97,000....Nicktane installed at 10,000 and I use Powerservice fuel treatment.

Just passed 151K on the original injectors. No smoke.

156,893 on my '01, original injectors, nothing fancy. Stock filtration, only buy fuel from high volume stations like truck stops. Runs great and pulls anything I can hook onto.

205k on my '03 LB7 with original injectors and still running like new. No smoke, perfect idle and pulls like a semi!

How much is it to replace the injectors? I use power service kleen diesel, is that going to help my injector life? I have not hit 30k yet so I would hope I have a long way to go.

You have an 06, not a 01-04 with the LB7 with the injector problems....

LBZ injectors are not known for having problems I do not believe...

mine has 220,000k on original injectors. 150,000k of those have been above 500 hp. my dad's is on set 3 and the his truck is stock. both are 02's

It is a hit or miss, I am happy with this second set, first set was at 32,000 miles, and the truck now has 182,000+ Miles, so the second set was the right one!

131,300, but going in today to get them replaced.

04 LB7/Ally 290,000km, predator programmer since 250,000km. all 8 origional injectors. fuel power fuel treatment and shell advance full syn. 2 stroke oil ballence rates are all good.

03 LB7/Ally 389,000km #2 & #7 injectors replaced at 350,000km rest are all in check. bone stock.

both driven hard and serviced regulary. the 04 has been used for quite bit of towing and alot of hard miles and the 03 has been loaded up with 8-10k all its life until 387km lol

Would how hard you drive your truck make the injectors go out quicker?

195k on the factory injectors. It was smoking at idle and the exhaust smell would almost knock you down. Above idle, the engine ran fine and my highway mileage didn't drop.

But it is nice to have a new set and the truck not smoke like a freight train at the red light.

Wow. I got 198,500 out of first set. Im at 212,000 now. Man I hope I get that much out of second set.

:eek: Now thats what I'm hoping to get with mine! My originals were replaced around 195k, and I now have 230k on it. That's encouraging to hear!

i got 70k out of what i believe to be my originals...(i bought the truck w/ 60k) hopefully i get alot more out of the new ones

Thing is, I think I'd rather see them all going bad right now....then I'd get a new set before the warranty expires.

I got over 200000 on my originals.Then they went every 100000 after. Changed my last set at 366000 miles. Then I sold the truck to a buddy. Its holding up well.

Zero cost thanks to warranty -- thanks GM! Hopefully I will get 150k+ on these as well.

I have 127,000 on original set, no smoke and smooth idle just like when I bought it. Sounds like most are going out much sooner.

Had mine replced last week to the tune of $4,4200.00. 69,000 miles. Dealer would not cover. Hope to get another 70,000 before I dump it.

165,000 on mine, smokes a little bit and fpr needs to be replaced, but going to wain a little bit and do it all at once.

My dad's at 219K on his stockers(knock on wood). Hes been running diesel treat in them since the truck started blowing bluish white smoke at 40K miles and its still running like a raped ape. I might be taking over his rig here pretty soon, so hopefully they keep chuggin along...

First replacement just done at 128,000 miles (206,000km).

119,000 on mine and she still runs good...

Replaced at 112,000. Lots of smoke. Now runs better than when it was new. GM paid the tab.

I got a 103,000 out of my first set, thank god the dealership covered the cost!!..If I remember right, the bill came out to 4600 for the whole job, but nothing came out of my pocket!!...

My 03 is still on the original set at about 300,000kms or 190,000 miles

well guys my baby is in the shop at 118k getting some new squirters. I never would have known they were bad until I got my oil analisis back stating 2.7% fuel in oil. dip stick was showing slightly high for about a week too. no other signs oil pressure was the same. no codes either.
