Hey Everyone. I was interesed in puting some bigger shoes on my LMM in the next few weeks and I need some help on a few questions. I am interested in running the Cooper Discovers 275-70-18 10ply on 18" golaith Ultra Wheels. dealer told me that the ultras are 9" wide and have the same back spacing, and offsets as the stockers i have know. I have been told i will need a leveling kit or do some cranking on the tbars to make them fit. Will I notice any mpg loss with this combo. Any help will be greatly appreciated:D

Does anyone know if I can run this combination without a leveling kit?

I might be wrong but I'm thinking you are going to at least need a leveling kit...but I'm sure there's someone here who's already crossed this bridge and will chime in on things...:)

You won't need a leveling kit and you shouldn't have to crank your t-bars that much if any. As for as mpg's you shouldn't notice much.

Have you run a set of rims and tires like this before?

The Goliath has offset +12, backspace of 5.5 inches, pretty close to BSpc of factory wheels.
Seems your tire & wheel choice is right in the ballpark, at 33x10 ... no problem with width.
And you shouldn't need a leveling kit, maybe a few Tbar cranks (at most) for tire height.

There's more info pictures in my tire garage (http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/garage.php?do=view&g=17182).
