Just curious if anyone has a good suggestion for air pressure on Toyo Open Country 285/75/R16's on a stock rim to get a little better mpg while running empty?

I would probably run them at 45-50psi unless your towing. Are they 8 or 10 ply?

The max pressure they call for. You will lose the soft ride but less energy to keep them rolling.

if you are running 285's on stock rims and max presure you will were the center of the tire bcouse the rim is to narow.

for fuel mileage, max out the pressure per sidewall ratings. for a softer ride, 55 front, 45-50 rear

x2 The only time you need to run the max air pressure espcially 285s on stock rims is with a load on the rear axle. I'd run 50-55 all away around just riding down the road. Something like that.

I run 50 in the front and 45 in the rear.
