Got a tune in my truck now that when you hold it to floor it will sound like a four stroke bouncing off the rev limiter. Am I running out of fuel or maybe a table got skipped? It only does it sometimes like it seems if I switch to 5 and run it it will do it everytime but sometimes if I leave it on five when I start the truck it doesnt do it. Truck starts bucking and wont get over 2500rpm.

It sounds like the truck is low on fuel rail pressure. Have you tried logging actual rail pressure vs. desired?

Havent logged yet....Doesnt actually backfire but thats kinda what it sounds like

Does the engine cut out and you hit your head on steering wheel? if so, it could be timing related. I've come across similar experiences, need to see the tune and log to really know for sure.

Yeah pretty much...I mean it will throw you back and forth pretty good. Goin to log today and see what its doing.

It is low rail pressure, I logged it last night, truck still needs a lift pump for the bigger tunes, also in severe need of built trans, all in the near future if I can talk him into:D What do you say calvin lets spend some of your $
