After the truck has been lifted, how does it ride?

Depending on the kit, same or better in most cases. Mine rode better until I installed the rims and tires. 35x20's in a load range e. Short stiff sidewalls definately took away some of the Cadillac ride!!

Nothing changes unless you crank the torsion bars or modify the rear springs.

depends on the size tire, what shocks you have, the kit you go with, and the road obviously. big tires and cheap shocks on a beat up country road and you'll have your hands full as i did before i bought nicer shocks. on the highway and nice roads it will ride and drive almost like a stock truck.

My Cognito 4-6" at about 5" rides like complete crap, that is with the lighter 6.0 motor though.

I don't remember if this is a procomp or fabtech on my buddy's truck, but its 35s on 18s, 6" lift. Ride so far seems great, better than stock. He has blocks and airbags in the rear.

It rides much better than stock. Especially with the 70psi in the rear.

6 inch procomp with t bars cranked and MX6 shocks. 37 by 13.5 on 18s and it rides better than stock, much better actually since upgrading to the MX6s.

10X better ride now. Almost makes up for the 3 plus mpg that I lost.

From the sounds of it, I should lift mine. It rides like a damn gravel train! Dropped air out of tires, still bouncy...oh well.

Well mine is bouncy, but i like a little float/bounce instead of stiff and jarring.

My friend just bought his first 2500 4x4 CC long bed. On his way home he called worried about how bad the ride was. Told him to lower the tire pressure and the ride would improve. He did and it did, but it still takes some time to get used to. For those of us who have always had the big long trucks I thing we have just gotten a bit used to them.

I keep my tires aired up pretty high so they dont wonder as much. These mud tires drive like ass when they arent aired up. And i agree, long beds ride way different.

Get some Deaver springs. Night and day difference. If you tow heavy add air bags.

Mine rides pretty stiff since I put "green keys" in and turned the bolts half an inch. Rode better with stock keys cranked all the way. But I am running 105 psi in 14 ply tires. Have bilstiens on the way from Nick and he seems to think they will help.
