I have a edge on it, and run it on level 1 all the time on the stock tranny, the truck has 64,000 miles on it, and i have 36's with stock gears. It usually runs about 150-165 on highway, and 165-190 on back roads and hills. I even did a custom install of a cold front to try to make the trans temp go up, but it did little good... is there something wrong here? Does it hurt the tranny to run so cold all of the time? even in the dead of summer the trans temp needle rarely moves. The hottest it has been was 150F when I was pulling a 30ft trailer stacked 10 high with bails of hay, front to back... not sure of the weight though, but it was a load. Dan | ||
