Going to go for the H2 take offs upgrade on my truck, but have a few questions. I have read about 3 hours worth of posts about tire size changes. But can't find out exactly what I need to know. Will changing to the larger tires affect the ABS? If so will this be fixed by changing the tire size with a hypertech or equivalent? Should I take the H2's off for every visit to the dealership, or only driveability problems. Example is I have to take it in for a new inst cluster, already been diagnosed and backordered, now its ready to go in.

Also is there anyone in the Vegas area with a programmer that might be willing to adjust my computer for the larger tire size, in return for some malted barley and hops. I already have a edge so I don't need to stack for more power.

H2's didn't affect my ABS this fall, and I adjusted my speedo with my BD programmer. When you change the speedo, doesn't it change the ABS computer parameters also?
Currently, I have the "tiny" tires back on for winter, so I cannot address the dealer issue.

IIRC, I don't think you can use a programmer on more than one vehicle, but I'm not completely sure.

The only issue I had at my dealer was they wouldn't align it after putting a new upper control arm in due to the tires. I didn't fight it because I'd never had it aligned after the green keys.

ABS no problems.

My ABS does not work reliably. Panic stops I've locked them up. Push comes to shove dealer can void a laundry list of warranty items if you show up with H2's on. All the programmers I'm aware of can only store one VIN at a time, so once it's used on your truck, it cannot be used on another until you restore stock perameters.

same hear on locking the brakes up with the H2s. I came to a choppy skidding halt on an off ramp (asphalt was slightly rolled/rutted). Did not mind but was not ready for it. you cannot adjust for larger than 265s with the current ABS modules.
