the lb7's have a GM factory warenty from 7 years to 200,000 miles, i think its 01-03, not the 04-04.5 though. Good motor, havent had one problem with my motor. other little problem though

After the 7 years and 200 k the warranty is done. if they were replaced at 199,999 and they failed at 200,001 miles, the warranty is over, no further coverage as its past the 200k mark.

Yes, 7 years 200K which ever comes first and includes the '04 LB7.

i just had all of my injectors replaced and i asked the dealer that question. They told me that the injectors were under warranty for 12 months or 12,000 mile which ever comes first.

Dealer is wrong. Multiple sets, as long as it is within the 7yr/200K from in service date. Many guys on here have had multiple sets. Now they might have warranteed them if it was at the end of the 7yr/200k period.

they told me that if my warranty was up on my truck and the injectors needed to be replaced that the injectors had a 12/12 warranty on them.

Special policy applies 7yrs from the in service date or 200 K. How many miles, and what was your in service date?

i have 113,500 mile on mine i bought the truck used so iam not sure what the inservice date is. my injectors were covered under the special policy. But the service rep said if the special policy was going to run out on my truck that the injectors were covered for 12/12 or whatever came first

Whats the Vin on the truck? They have to warranty parts for at least 12/12 as per GM's guidelines. But I am pretty sure your truck still has the 7/200K which means that they should be covered on the 7/200K. Here is a link that you can print out to take to them to prove it if they want to fight it. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=196427&highlight=04039B

If you post me the vin I will post your inservice date.

Well once it is out of warranty its out till they are replaced. Then if I am right you get a 12/12 for only that part.

many genuine GM parts used to be covered for 12months/12,000 miles. Not sure if that's true anymore but any new part you buy is covered for an XX warranty from the manufacturer, labor may not be covered, but the new parts will have a basic warranty.

80% of GM dealerships have a life time warranty on parts and labor WHEN YOU PAY FOR THE PARTS. It is not available everywhere and if you have a failure of the paid for part you have to take it to the original dealer if you are within 50 miles of them or to a participating dealer if not within the 50 mile radius. GM pays for the parts and the dealership pays for the labor. It is wise before going in for a repair that may be an expensive one to ask the dealer if the participate in the program. The big ticket items are covered, LIKE INJECTORS, FUEL and WATER PUMPS, AC components, EGR valves, CV joints and many other parts. They will give you a brochure with the ticket number on it. You need the brochure and the receipt to get it repaired under the program. Ask about the plan when you go in for a repair.
