I have a Stock Duramax, and looking for a programer, And i don't want to upgrade the allison, Which one should i get, I like the edge because of the tranny gaurd, and the gauges, but i also like the predater, i know i will have to be careful not to hurt the tranny, but i really can't swing the tranny upgrade. I saw on one of the websites, a deal for the Edge with attitude, with a Mbrp exaust, and the intake for $1200 is that a good deal, or don't i need all that stuff, Thanks:help:

You don't "need" any of it.

It's all about addiction and wanting it. Yes $1200. is a good deal for the bundle and you will buy all of it sooner or later, so if it's in the budget go for it.

If you run more than an additional 85 to 100 hp, you will work on the tran at some point. Spend your money there first or stay within the above.

If you have an LB7 I would recommend the Edge w/Attitude based on what you said. Set it on one of the lower settings and forget its there. Play with the exhaust and air intake later. Its more fun to just do 1 thing at a time, and then test it repeatedly!!
