Is anyone aware of a good D-Max dealer around Dayton, OH. My truck has a knock, sounds like injecter, it qiets a little when I use additive. Dealer I bought it from says its in the valve train and that it is normal, but that I could quiet it down if I would use Pennzoil oils. Well if it is "normal" than "normal" has changed significantly. I have ran and operated many diesels (ag and Indusrtial) and I do know that oil brand will not make an engine sound different and if it does we still have a problem. His attitude is that if there is a problem it's not the engine's fault it's something you did.

Try Ron Garrett Chevrolet in Greenville (Darke Co.) I live outside of Greenville and have bought 3 trucks from this dealership and have had good luck with service when needed. I know a couple of the service techs there and they seem to really know what they are doing.

I purchased mine from Lang's in Beavercreek, no problems with glow plug controller and injector replacement trips.

Holman Chevrolet in Bethel, OH. I went to Highschool with the lead tech and the service manager there. They should be able to set you strait.

I appreciate the replies now I need to make a choice. I have a question for Toy Fever. Does Langs know you have a juice and do they mind.

I always remove the juice and attitude. No reason to chance it. They have not had any problems with the MBRP exhaust.
