HK45 04-12-2008, 04:05 PM I purchased some Baldwin fuel filter for my truck. Today I had my buddy change the fuel filter for me. 3 filters later they all leak from the seals. Why is this? My buddy works for GM, so I cant think of anything he is doing wrong. Also my sensor is pretty new. No matter how hard you tighten or how loosely you leave it ,it just leaks. Any tips since I don’t have my truck for the next 2 day since I don’t have any oem filter around and the dealers are closed. RI Chevy Silveradoman 04-12-2008, 05:46 PM Tighten the WIF sensor up tight and snug, keeping in mind they are plastic threads. How about the outside larger o-ring for the outside rim? Do you have the correct fuel filter? Also, moved thread to Maintenance/Fluids. Very weird but it seemed that on the first 3 filters the sensor was like not in on one side for some reason. The last filter it sat flush. ARM 04-12-2008, 09:40 PM :eek:They Are Made In China Also!!!
