i love my dmax, but have NEVER liked my horn -:t

i've seen several posts on train horns, etc...however, i don't want THAT much
horn :eek:...or equipment...

can anyone recommend a good aftermarket horn alternative?

ty, nexton, but what i was hoping to avoid was a compressor :badidea: ...i was hoping there was a horn out there that gave a good tone w/o a compressor...

any adive from anyone is welcome...

Maybe try going to a junk yard and look for an old Cadillac Brougham. A friend of mine had an '89 and that was the loudest factory horn I ever heard. Sounded like a damn train. Guess you need that kind of horn to match the size of that car.

When I wanted a louder 12V horn I went to the nearest marina and bought a boat horn.
Sounds real good for about 35 bucks.:cool:
My daughter bought a bigger one on e-bay for $60. I think it's a fog horn.:eek:
