: Need memory help re: P/S flushing

I've recently experienced the problem: start truck, now there's no power steering or brakes. I know it has to do with the pump, steering gear or hydro booster for brakes, and I'd swear I read a test and flush procedure somewhere on this site but now I can't find it. Anybody have this link?

I just got into my truck and I have the same problem, no p-steering or p-brake, was ok yesterday anyone know what going on.

Went out again and reved the engine and ps and pb working again, will do a fluid change and see if it happens again.

I just had this happen, swapped out the fluid with synthetic and it has been fine. It's acually better, better pedal feel and the steering feel. Look in the do it yourself section there is a thread on it. I did the same thing
