Anyone know how bad a problem this is? How much to fix? Is the tranny roached? thanks

I had this happen once or twice on my 01. Put a Tech II on it to read the code and manually moved to solenoid. After that it ran fine. I ultimatly ended up putting a NSBU switch in it and did not see a problem again. Sold the truck 20K miles after the NSBU install.

i had the exacy problem about 3 months ago my truck kept actin g up sticking in gear i would shut off and it would be fine for a bit threw the same code turned out to be solenoid c was bad the dealer replaced it for under 350$ if your brave the part only costs about 30$ u have have to drop the valve body to replace it good luck

WHere is the solenoid C located? A friend needs his changed, but does not have a manual, and I do not either.
