Hey All

I had a SC Stage IV done and now I am leaving little drips of oil her and there. I have caught a few of them and I looks like engine oil. How common is it for the rear main seal to be damaged when installing a new tranny? And how serious will it have to get to get it fixed?

I do not think you can damage the rear seal by removing and reinstalling the tranny. The crank is pretty stout! Better check again where it is coming from--:cool:

It is coming of the front of the bell housing through the weep hole at the bottom. The coloration of the oil is not tranny oil and is engine oil (I can tell as it is purple as I run Royal Purple).
