I've only got an 01 ext cab shorty, but had to tie up the brake line and vent a little. I just used a tie strap. I have helped do an 03 dually as well and did the same thing. If i remember correctly, you should weave the pipe between the axle and the lines, and have the lines above the pipe.If you have the lines under, not sure it can be looked after properly :badidea:

Thanks for the confimation. I was thinking of turning the brake T around so it was facing the front giving extra slack and clearing the exhaust. I am not sure why gm put T facing the same way as the line. Seems that would be a point of failure.by the way how do send pics up?

The "T" Junction Block faces the front stock..........I rotated mine towards the rear bumper to make the arc........

Yup. I was surprized to see that when we did the install on my Sierra. Tied the line away from the pipe and then put some heat sheild on it just to be safe.

On the 05 crew dually the line is shorter then the pic up top. I think I will have rerun the brake line. Also the exhust rubs the shock. Again it does not appear to have the same clearance as the above pics.

Again it does not appear to have the same clearance as the above pics.Because the Drivers rear pipe is two pieces you can get creative by rotating each piece of pipe.........it takes a little adjusting to get all the clearances the same but it can be done........I spent a little extra time on the drivers side to get it so I have plenty of clearance between the shock, frame and body......

Hope that HELPS YA..........

Good Luck,
