I was just wondering if there was anyone that was running this in their D-MAX? Are there any pros and cons to this stuff? Is it good for the engine? Have not used it yet because the stuff looks and acts like bar and chain lube for for my chainsaw. Any info is appreciated.

I have run 2 bottles of the lucas every oil change since 20000 miles and the truck now has 85000. Honestly I couldnt tell any difference, just seemed like everybody I talked to swore by it. No problems at all though

I think your wastingyour money, the oil manufacture put in all the additives you need when they made the oil. Some additives might upset the balance and functions of the oil manufactures additives.

I spoke with a chemist(?), scientist(?) at Blackstone labs in Indiana(?) and they told me that oil is oil. Just change it! The "worst" synthetic was Mobil 1. But from all the stuff I've read, any synthetic is better than the stuff from the ground. My wife drives a 1991 Accord with 300k and it never saw syn. and runs like new.:o:

Go to bobistheoilguy.com and check out their findings on how it made gear lube foam up. I would just run a good oil.

I was wondering about Mobil 1. I was told it was one of the best, but my car just broke a timing chain, and it has been run solely on Mobil 1. And it only has 74,000 miles!
