Ok, What is the high idle pins? What does it do for you that differs from the elevated idle option that is currently on the LLY models?

By using the high idle pins, you have the ability to manually high idle an LLY whenever you wish. While I personally treat my D-Max like a big rig/ piece of heavy equipment and high idle nearly anytime I'm idling for more than just a minute or two, this is nice to have in colder weather (for cab heat) when the auto-high idle doesn't kick in because one or more of the parameters isn't right.

The high idle pin you are selling is also the pin used on the dual alternator setup on the lly engine. When i got the parts together for my dual alternator, the pins i received were the wrong size for my lly.

Thanks Coyotekid, Got my idle pins last night. Tried to crimp one on last night with my cheapie crimpers without much luck. Can' t get a good, tight crimp. Guess I'll just have to go buy a new crimper. Darn, more tools. ):h

That's good to know about the dual alternator setup.
