I wanted to get everyones input on what chip/tuner is best for mileage? I usually only run a 20-40 horse tow tune So the majority of the time I am looking for a little more power and as much MPG as possible esp. with fuel cost now.....

I recently got a PPE standard tune and am up a solid 3 mpg over my Edge I had before. Loved the Edge but PPE is way better on fuel economy. And the power ain't bad either! :D

Superchips any good? I got one for $100 so I may as well try it.

I just had a ride in a GMC 2500HD with a superchip set at 125 HP. Wow put my same stock truck to shame. Tires break free in second. had to get off the fuel. Dynos at 350 HP rear tires. The truck had intake, 4"exhaust, guages, Superchip, thats it. pyro climbed fast though. He says does 1/4 low 14's.
He pulls 15000 lb fifth.in tow mode, 40 HP. He gets 22 to 24 MPG empty and staying off the pedal. I average 17.5 MPG. Remember before you say BS, we are in Canada and our fuel is aprox. 1/5 more fuel per gallon. I was shocked to see 11 t0 13 posted, until I remembered the US gallon was smaller which equals less MPG. Our diesel is $1.35 per litre. Aprox 4.5 litres to one gallon equals $6.02 per gallon, so everyone up here in Canada is trying to figure out best bang for your buck that gets better MPG. I havent heard of too many people over the 20 MPG mark. Maybe because all that extra power is hard not to play with.
