kingboydmax 04-09-2008, 09:44 PM my truck seems to not want to shift at high rpms(2300-3100) then if i let off for a second it will shift. but if I just step on it, rpms only reach 2300 and climb slowly, turbo spools up real fast and then down a little like im towing a heavy load. WTF TOTHEMAX! 04-10-2008, 09:04 AM fuel filter emerson 04-10-2008, 09:14 AM I have had one similar issue when I ran my coolant heater when it was warm outside. It set a code and cut some power until I cleared the code. Apparently on start up the ECM compares the coolant and fuel temp and if the difference is too much it gets unhappy. Not sure why, but rather than stalling(which it will do also eventually) shift points change/get inhibited.
