Just thought I would post some pics of the new wheels and tires. Wheels are 18x9 XD Diesels with 285/65-18 Terra-Grapplers. :)

Tell me what ya think....

Do you have a leveling kit on that truck? I've got an 05' that I'm looking to go with an 18" wheel but not sure what will fit and what backspacing to use. Right now I'm running the stockers with 285/75/16 with the t-bars turned up a tad. If you don't mind would you mind sharing the info on the BS and Wheel Width. Thanks!

roosky01,

Looks great. In addition to the above questions, do you know the load rating? I like the look of the Diesels, but need a load rating around 34-3500 lbs. Thanks.

I just have the T-bars cranked up. The wheels are 0 offset and being that they are 9 in. wide, they do stick out just a little. I had 16x8 rims with 285/75-16's on before with the normal trimming and these new ones do not rub at all. Tire diameter is virtually the same between the two sizes, less than a 1/4 inch.

If you don't have rubbing issues with the wheels and tires you have now, I don't think you would have any issues with a set-up like this.

I just put a set of XD Hoss with -12 offset with same 285/65/18 and can tell you they rub pretty bad with t-bars cranked all the way. I had to trim quite a bit (or at least what I consider quite a bit being that I didn't want to trim at all). Offset is the key. Sounds like 0 is pretty good but -12 sticks out further and rubs more.

I checked with Wheel Pros and they said they only offered the XD Diesel in a -12 Offset in the 18x9 wheel so I'm not sure what I'll do now cause I really liked that setup!

I bought my wheels and tires from rimzoneonline. Ordered them online and they were mounted and balanced, at my door, 9 days later..Saved $150.00 over my local Discount Tire ($250.00 if you include tax).:)

I know rimzoneonline has 0 off-set's, I didn't think they even had -12 off-set's in the Diesel's....

I know they are not a supporting vendor, but I had a very good experience with them.....

Thanks for the thumbs up....I guess I'm old school, black trucks need chrome shoes..

You need to get some pics of your wheels in your garage so we can see 'em..:)

Those are sweet!! I wish I would have gone with 18's instead of 20's. Better tire selection and more sidewall. Do you have pics from the front or rear? I'd like to see the side profile.

Post some pics of your black ones. I might need some of those on my black truck...

You can tell in the pics that the next purchase is new mud flaps and a new front bumper cover...:(

Ohhh nice! Those don't stick out too bad at all. 0 offset you said? I like those! Thanks for posting the pics.

They look nice ... I like how much they stick out. Will they put more stress on the hubs being a 0 offset?

Anything larger than stock will put more stress on everything. I feel that with this size of wheel, the offset is about perfect. Better than the -12 offset that alot of guys are running IMO....
