Just looking to see if anyone else has had this problem. Yesterday about 20 minutes into a 100 mile drive the Tire pressure warn light comes on and it said my right front tire pressure was "--". The issue is that it doesn't stay on. Now this morning the warning is gone and it now reads the pressure correctly "62". I hate taking this to the dealer especially since it is intermitent. Any ideas what to check?

only caught the tail end of the convo but i over heard my local dealer say that when u hit the tire pressure sensor relearn u can touch some sort of magnet to the tire that u are supposed to be calibrating and it will reset ur accepted pressure to the current tire pressure. anyone heard of or know anything else about this?

may have a sensor intermittantly not working.
The relearn procedure is used with a tool that reads info from the sensor and sends it to the module.

the relearn procedure can be done in the truck by hitting relaern and letting a little air out of each tire untill it beeps its in the owners manual. thoe jason lbzrks showed me how to do this

yep just press relearn and start letting air out of the tires one at a time, it will honk for each one. Once you finish the last tire it should honk twice iirc

yep, thats an easy way to do it.
You have to start with the left front then go to right front then right rear and end with the left rear.
Don't forget to readjust the pressures. If you went with nitrogen in your tires - good luck.

Did it again this weekend where the right front goes to "--" , then a little while later goes back to 62, and the last time it went to "--". This morning everything back to normal 62. It seems to only have the problem when traveling on the freeway for a while. Kinda hard to take in a problem to the dealer when it seems there isn't one.
Haven't seen the relearn procedure in the manual. No special tool needed?

nope, it's the easiest and quickest way. The manual way works great too. It is our back up way when the tool isn't working :-)
